Desert Museum--18 photos on 2 pages!

Desert Museum--May 2009
Can you believe it?  18 photos on a 2 page spread!  That might be my record!  I left 6 photos at true 4x6 and used them as a border down each far side.  I then used a 2" punch to create squares of all but one other photo.  (The darn lizard wouldn't fit, so I had to hand trim him to 2x4"!)

Left side
The background paper is "Southwest Swirl" from Outdoors and More.  I then used Reminisce's "Fiesta Stripe" to cut the title and mat the borders of photos.  Can you see the tiny maracas next to the 4x6 photos?  The paper was reversible, so I used the striped side to cut the title!  I think the title was cut with Simply Sweet and then the shadow was cut in black to help ground the whole thing.

Right Side
I then matted all the 2" pictures (and the darn lizard!) in black to help them stand out from the bright background paper.  This allowed me to showcase the special photos left from Great Grandparents visiting their Great Grandchildren while incorporating our visit to the Desert Museum the same day!

  1. Wow! That's a lot of pics on one layout! But it works though...it's awesome!

  2. I love using all of those little pictures on my layouts too. I haven't done my scrapbooking in a long time. I like to fill up my pages with pictures.
